How to Make Farmhouse Chili in 4 Easy Steps

  1. Combine the meat and chili powder. Use ground beef, ground pork, venison, elk, or any mixture of those.  You probably could even use chicken if that’s all you had on hand!  Mix the meat with 1 TBSP of chili powder.
  2. Brown the meat and veggies. In a large pot, brown the meat, onion, jalapeno and garlic.  Drain the fat.

3. Add meat and everything else to slow cooker. Add the browned meat and remaining ingredients to your slow cooker.  Don’t forget the Bush’s Chili Beans in mild chili sauce– I swear, they are magic.  Cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH 3-4 hours.

4.  Top with shredded cheddar, cilantro, green onions, sour cream, or your other favorite toppings.

Serve Farmhouse Chili With
